DO I NEED A BRIDGE?
For central HVAC systems with ductwork: A Bridge is required.
Every new Flair home using Smart Vents requires a Bridge to serve as the central networking device. A centrally located Bridge covers ~2,500 sq ft homes. Layout and building materials impact range. Additional Bridges can be added to increase range.
For mini splits/ductless heat pumps: A Bridge is recommended.
Want your Puck to be fully wireless? You need a Bridge. Comfortable with a wired connection? You don't need a Bridge.
If you're using Flair Pucks to run multiple head units, we recommend integrating a Bridge into your system for expedited setup and enhanced connectivity.
